Discuss your requirements
What does BYOC mean here?

Bring your own carrier lets you connect an existing telephony provider through supported carrier or SIP interfaces. Your carrier relationship and its charges remain part of the deployment.

Are number rental and call usage the same charge?

No. Number rental, telephony usage and platform conversation usage are separate cost drivers. Review the live quote for the number, destination and configuration you choose.

Is open-source telephony the same as an open-source Voice product?

No. Connections to projects such as FreeSWITCH, Asterisk and Kamailio describe interoperability with those components. Each project and Vagary product retains its own license and commercial terms.
